The Muster Room Podcast

The show is a raw, hard-hitting podcast focusing on law enforcement, first responders and military aftermath of critical incidents (line of duty deaths, injuries, suicides, mass casualty incidents and other traumatizing experiences). While the topics and conversations will be serious and informative, there will be light hearted banter and comedy to allow for a relaxing environment between the hosts, guests and listeners.

Hosted by:

Eric Potts, retired police detective of 31 years from New Jersey. Served in the US Army, is a nationally touring standup comedian and resident radio personality on New Jersey’s 101.5.

Austin Glickman, active New York City police officer, served as a firefighter/EMT for the City of Long Beach Fire Department and is the President of Law Enforcement Officers Weekend Inc., one of the largest nonprofit organizations serving the families of injured and fallen law enforcement officers across the United States.

Each episode will focus on specific events. We’ll discuss the incident and how the survivors (or the families of the fallen) dealt with the incident. How has it effected their lives? What adversity have they since overcome? What is the healing process like? What, if anything, would you do differently? How has the general public perceived the incident? etc. - It’s important to get the perspective of the survivors whether they are a uniformed member of service or family, so others can understand that there is great empathy within our ranks. The overall goal of the podcast is to function, to some extent, as a Critical Incident Stress Management counseling event.

The Show is hosted by Active Police Officer Austin Glickman & Retired Detective Eric Potts. Retired Officer Paulie Lewis is our Community Manager. The show is produced and edited by Active officer, Joseph Ryder
